Glamping Business Workshops

Throughout 2017, Kate is running glamping business workshops, sharing her expertise

with companies and individuals who are interested in starting a glamping business.

Carefully selected guest co-presenters who are already running successful glamping businesses

will also share their experiences, the pitfalls, and inside tips.

Our mission: to provide pragmatic knowledge and know-how to those interested in starting a

glamping business.

There’s a lot going on in the glamping industry right now, it’s developing at a rate of knots with increasing guest expectations, new structures, business models, and dedicated services entering the market. It’s an exciting time, but it can be a tricky labyrinth to navigate as not all ‘glamping glitter’ is gold. There are many variables to consider, we want to help you get it right.

So, these glamping business workshops will dismiss the chaff and deliver the wheat, giving you the information, guidance and tools to create a successful enterprise, and save you making mistakes already experienced by others. We’ve called them ‘workshops’ rather than seminars because they are practical as well as informative, and numbers are limited to facilitate time for discussion and questions.

THE NEXT WORKSHOPS ARE:

Make Your Glamping Dreams a Reality’

Friday 22nd September at 09.45 – 10.45am, and again at 4.00m to review (if you wish, not obligatory)

At The Glamping Show, Stoneleigh Park

Investment:

£20 individual place

£35 for 2 places – couples / business partners

This is a two-part workshop, in the morning, and again in the late afternoon, to help you get the most of of the Show, and is one of several seminars I’m involved in at The Glamping Show this year. It’s a great event for finding the right people, information and products to create your dream glamping site, so don’t miss opportunities during your visit.

09.45 – 10.45am It’s important to make the most of your time at these events, so this start to the show will help you focus on what to look out for, what questions to ask, and which seminars to attend. Your visit will be more productive and you’ll have a few inside tips up your sleeve, too.

The workshop format is based on my usual Glamping Business Workshops (see below for the last one). After a review of the basics we’ll go through the subjects that you can explore at the Show – including structure choices, facilities, USP and marketing options. It will be a gallop – have your pen and questions ready.

4.00pm Towards the end of the show (if you still have the energy!) we will re-group for questions and discussion to compare notes. Not obligatory but if you have any questions (you’ll probably have more than you did to start with!) it’s a good opportunity to get them answered before you leave.

Do keep in touch afterwards if you wish, and join the Glamping Business Link which includes myself, glampsite owners and other reputable industry experts and suppliers. Even if you don’t attend a workshop you are welcome to join, it’s free, full of good contacts and useful glamping information 🙂

The admission ticket also includes a Show Special offer, giving you £50 off my usual fee to visit your site to discuss your plans and advise (valid till March 31st 2018)… do make the most of it if you already have the location.

Any remaining places can be booked at the show, but if you want to guarantee your place do book now, the number of places have to be limited.
